How big of a potato crop does Britain have anyway?

It’s really weird when you see an unknown company using a familiar logo. Here in the US, Lay’s uses that:
Apparently its based on the Walkers one (Frito-Lay owns both Lay’s and Walkers)
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

As a crisp, it’s okay.
I prefer it with chips.

We have Lay’s Ketchup here; while I don’t like large amounts of ketchup on stuff I do really enjoy ketchup chips. It’s got this crazy tangy/acidic/sweet/salt flavour that I really enjoy.
I’ve been eating this recently, though:
mustard is the best condiment, and the honey, dijon, seeded, and whatever other types are out there are awesome

Walkers alone gets through 350,000tonnes a years and uses potatoes grown in a 20 mile radius.

Judging by the chips on the bag, they use different seasoning to the Canadian version.
Canadian ketchup chips are basically like tomato ey salt and vinegar chips. And they always are red and put red stains on your fingers.

S alt & Pepper chips are the best, w ith Russet ones as a close second.

They used to be in a similar packet put never looked that red.

These are just my favourite for Walkers crisps. Walkers do so many other potato based stuff and so many other companies to a mass of other flavours, it's bewildering.

Lays made a garlic bread one that was practically orgasmic.

That’s a pretty good haul. Is it all from Ireland, or is there a lot of production in England and Scotland?

Walkers is in England and that is a 20 mile radius of farms that produce those potatoes. Potato based stuff is a very popular product.
There is a farm just south of me that produces 50 different types of potato.

I know, but I thought you said it as a flavour.
I would imagine that would taste earthy

Oh, those are SO darn good. Shame that I can rarely ever find that flavor in with the other Kettle flavors.

Lots around me in the West of England for the fancy Tyrell’s Crisps. That’s grown into a very large operation now.

Dunno. They were in the first round of wacky flavors that Lays put out. Haven’t seen them in a few years.
